About Me

Hello! I'M Fahad Alharthy.

I’m an IT professional based in Leicester, England. I've always had an inexplicable fascination with technology - the way it works, how it's built, and the endless possibilities that lie ahead. I've always had an incredible passion for building and fixing things, especially in cloud computing.

As apart of the Cloud Operations Engineer Bootcamp by Generation x Prince’s Trust I was able to improve my problem-solving and analytical abilities, making it easier for me to see problems and propose viable solutions. This has boosted my career into landing my current role as a Support Engineer for two years; whilst obtaining industry leading qualifications.

My Skills

Web Design

My experience as web designer, I construct the overall look and feel of a website, using images, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to do so.

Python

Python as a general-purpose coding language has strengthened my coding abilities by allow me to use what I have learned in different projects.

Critical Thinking

As a critical thinker I like to understand the links between ideas and recognise, build and appraise discussions.

Linux and Shell

I have experience coding in the shell command interpreter on operating systems such as GNU/Linux.

Web Scraping

I have an understanding of extracting data from a website. This information is collected and then exported into a format that is more useful for the user.

AWS Cloud

Knowledge with a cloud computing platform provided by Amazon that includes a mixture of infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and packaged software as a service (SaaS) offerings.
